Click Connect. A Widgety page opens in your browser.Paste your agency API key, then click Authorize connector. The key authorises the connection once. Claude never sees it.

Try it
Start a new chat and ask:
Show me 7-night Caribbean cruises departing in February 2027.
If Claude doesn’t use Widgety, check the connector is switched on for that chat, using the tools icon in the message box.
Usually set up once by your IT or digital team. Everyone using that Copilot agent then gets Widgety data.
1
Add an MCP tool
In Copilot Studio, open your agent and go to Tools → Add a tool → Model Context Protocol.
2
Enter the server details
Server name: Widgety Cruise Search
Server URL:https://cruise-search-mcp-ngzcfzacka-uc.a.run.app/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP
3
Set up authentication
Choose API key:
Type: Header
Header name:X-API-Key
Value: your Widgety agency API key
4
Test it
In the test pane, ask: “Which cruise lines can I sell?” You should see your agency’s list.
Everyone using the agent shares one API key, so they all see the same cruise lines. If teams need different access, ask your account manager for a key per team.
Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can use Widgety.
