# AI Connector overview

The Widgety AI Connector plugs live cruise inventory into your AI assistant. You ask in plain English, and the assistant answers from real sailings.

## Before you start

You'll need two things:

1. **A Widgety agency API key.** Your account manager provides it. It controls which cruise lines you can see.
2. **An AI assistant that supports connectors.** Claude or Microsoft Copilot, for example.
