# Troubleshooting

> Fixes for the problems that come up most.

  <Accordion title="The assistant isn't using Widgety">
    Check the connector is switched on for that chat, then ask it directly:

    > Use Widgety to search for…

    Still nothing? Reconnect the connector in your assistant's settings.

  <Accordion title="Authorisation failed">
    Check you pasted the whole key, starting `wgt_live_`, with no extra spaces. If it still fails, your key may have expired. Contact your account manager.

  <Accordion title="A search returned nothing">
    Loosen the brief: wider dates, nearby ports, a longer duration range. Or ask "What can I sell in this region?" to see what's available to you.

  <Accordion title="A cruise line is missing from the results">
    Ask "Which cruise lines can I sell?" If the line isn't listed, it isn't on your key. Your account manager can add it.

    If the line is listed but nothing comes back, the name may not have been recognised. Try the full official name, for example "Royal Caribbean International".

  <Accordion title="A price looks wrong">
    Ask the assistant to check it again and say where the figure came from. Answers should come from Widgety data, not the assistant's own knowledge.

    Then confirm with the cruise line before quoting. If the figure was clearly wrong, tell us so we can look into it.

  <Accordion title="The assistant made something up">
    It happens, usually when a question goes beyond the data, such as onboard details no line publishes. Ask it to confirm from Widgety data, and treat anything it can't back up as unverified.

  <Accordion title="Results seem out of date">
    Start a new chat. Assistants sometimes reuse earlier results rather than searching again.
